Child protection is a shared responsibility among all members of the community.
As defined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, education is one of the basic criteria for the healthy and safe development of the child. While parents play a key role in raising children, schools play a major role in the process of integrating children into society.
Together for Life Association has conducted a series of trainings with teachers in schools in Shkodra, Malësi e Madhe and Puka.
About 75 teachers have been trained in identifying, reporting and managing cases of violence against children, mechanisms for protecting children from violence and abuse.
Ky aktivitet u zhvillua në kuadër të projektit “Mbrojtja e fëmijëve nga dhuna dhe abuzimi nëpërmjet edukimit gjithëpërfshirës”, zbatuar nga shoqata Together for Life, në kuadër të skemës së granteve të vogla të projektit “Promovimi i të drejtave të njeriut nëpërmjet arsimit gjithëpërfshirës dhe fuqizimit të Organizatave të Shoqërisë Civile Lokale” i financuar nga Bashkimi Evropian dhe i zbatuar nga Shoqata Internacionale për Solidaritetin në partneritet me Fondacionin AVSI dhe shoqatën Gruaja në Zhvillim Shkodër.
